Requirements and responsibilities

Who we are looking for: - We do not want a perfectionist. - We want a finisher. - You are the person who gets handed a vague problem at 10am and has a working solution by 3pm because you asked the right questions, found the right package, and let AI handle the boilerplate. - You would rather ship something functional today and refine it tomorrow than architect something beautiful for three weeks. - You hate busywork, so you automate it. Responsibilities: - Build and ship Laravel features end to end: from a rough Slack message to working code in production. - Break down ambiguous requests into a plan, confirm it in writing, then execute without hand-holding. - Use AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) daily to accelerate research, debugging, and boilerplate; we expect this, we do not penalize it. - Find answers fast: docs, source code, AI, community; unblock yourself before escalating. - Communicate progress proactively in English: short written updates, honest flags when something slips. - Own bugs in what you ship: fast fixes, no defensiveness. Requirements: - 2–4 years of Laravel experience: Eloquent, queues, APIs, testing basics. - Demonstrated resourcefulness: show us something you built, automated, or figured out that was outside your job description. - Fluent daily use of AI coding tools; you should be able to show us your workflow in the interview. - Conversational English, strong written English. - Bias for action: you ship first drafts fast and iterate. - Self-managing: you thrive with autonomy and hate being micromanaged. What you get: - Full-time direct employment with stable monthly USD salary. - Long-term role, not a contract that vanishes. - Work directly with a Laravel core contributor; your code gets reviewed by someone who helps build the framework.
