Learn more at Havoc: All-Domain Collaborative Autonomy .About the RoleWe are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Platform team and help build the infrastructure and tooling that powers our engineering organization.In this role, you will focus on automation, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure, enabling teams to build, deploy, and operate services reliably and efficiently. You will play a key role in creating paved paths and self-service tooling that improve developer velocity while maintaining high standards for reliability, security, and performance.You will work closely with the Cloud Platform, SRE, and Data Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment where systems are built and tested in real-world conditions.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation & Platform EnablementBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support the full software development lifecycleDevelop self-service tooling and standardized workflows for deployment and operationsImprove developer experience through automation, documentation, and engineering best practicesHelp establish scalable platform capabilities that accelerate engineering teamsCloud Infrastructure & OperationsImplement and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as CodeDeploy and support containerized workloads using Docker and KubernetesMaintain and improve development, staging, and production environmentsPartner with Cloud Platform and SRE teams to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-efficientReliability, Observability & SecurityImplement observability solutions across logging, metrics, tracing, and alertingParticipate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement effortsImplement secure CI/CD pipelines, secrets management, and access controlsContribute to operational readiness, reliability practices, and infrastructure resilienceCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with engineering teams to support deployment, infrastructure, and operational needsTroubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and runtime issues across environmentsContribute to platform standards, technical documentation, and engineering best practicesHelp improve engineering workflows through automation and collaborationQualifications3+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, cloud platform, or related engineering rolesStrong experience with CI/CD systems and deployment automationHands-on experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably AWSFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationExperience operating production systems with monitoring, logging, and alertingProficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or GoSolid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentalsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance if requiredPreferred SkillsExperience working on a cloud platform or internal developer platformFamiliarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgetsExperience supporting data pipelines or analytics infrastructureKnowledge of cloud security best practicesExperience optimizing cloud costs and infrastructure efficiencyBackground supporting high-reliability, defense, or regulated environmentsExperience working in small, fast-moving engineering teams or high-growth technology companiesActive or prior security clearanceWhat Success Looks LikeWithin 12 months, success in this role looks like reliable, scalable CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows that are broadly adopted across engineering teams.
