The firm now advises Canadian lenders and industry professionals on expanding into the U.S., including market entry, licensing, regulatory strategy, and business structuring. It operates as a fast-paced, entrepreneurial practice combining legal services with business development, education, and industry engagement.
On behalf of Jasmine Daya & Co, we are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer and Social Media Content Creator to develop high-quality visual content for the firm’s social media platforms, website, webinars, newsletters, presentations, and other marketing initiatives.
The successful candidate must be able to translate legal, business and educational information into visually appealing, professional and easy-to-understand content. This person should understand how to design for a premium professional-services brand while also creating content that is engaging enough to perform well on social media.
The role may also involve supporting related brands, industry initiatives and the professional brand of the firm’s Managing Principal.

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Graphic Design
Design branded graphics for social platforms (posts, carousels, infographics, announcements, spotlights)
Create visuals for legal topics, cross-border insights, and industry updates
Adapt content per platform specs while ensuring brand consistency
Content Production
Turn articles, webinars, and briefs into social media assets
Repurpose long-form content into short posts, carousels, and campaigns
Extract key insights, statistics, and quotes for visual content
Develop recurring content series and reusable templates
Maintain a consistent content pipeline and posting readiness
Video & Multimedia
Create thumbnails, reel covers, and promotional graphics
Edit short-form videos; add captions, transitions, music, and branding
Repurpose webinars, podcasts, and speaking content into short clips
Create basic animations and export in correct formats (advanced editing is a plus)
Template Development
Create Canva-editable templates for educational posts, legal insights, comparisons, events, announcements, and branding needs
Brand Management
Apply brand colors, typography, and logos consistently across all outputs
Maintain organized assets and ensure clear distinction across brands
Protect brand integrity and update materials as needed
Review all content for accuracy, formatting, and visual consistency
Marketing Materials
Design decks, brochures, fact sheets, newsletters, and web/email graphics
Create event, promotional, and sponsored-content materials
Prepare branded PDFs and lead-generation assets
Collaboration & Workflow
Collaborate with the Managing Principal and marketing team on priorities
Translate written briefs into effective creative outputs
Manage multiple deadlines, revisions, and approvals
Maintain organized files, templates, and content trackers
Communicate proactively on missing details or requirements
Ad Hoc Support
Perform additional tasks as needed
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience in graphic design, social media content, or digital marketing
Strong portfolio (social graphics, branded content, marketing materials)
Proficient in Canva + at least one design tool (Adobe or similar)
Experience with LinkedIn/Instagram content and formats (carousels, infographics, templates)
Ability to simplify complex information into clear visuals
Solid understanding of layout, typography, and branding
Detail-oriented with strong English communication skills
Able to spot and fix design, spelling, and formatting issues
Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines independently
Reliable remote setup (internet + workspace)
Open to feedback and quick revisions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing content for a law firm, financial-services company, professional association or other professional-services organization.
Experience creating content for LinkedIn audiences.
Knowledge of short-form video editing through CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.
Experience creating YouTube thumbnails, reel covers and motion graphics.
Familiarity with social media dimensions and platform-specific design requirements.
Experience preparing presentation decks, brochures, media kits and downloadable guides.
Experience managing Canva brand kits and shared template libraries.
Familiarity with social media scheduling or content-management platforms.
An understanding of private lending, real estate finance or legal marketing is helpful but not required.
Portfolio Requirement
Applicants must submit a portfolio containing examples of:

Additional Requirements
Two professional references and a valid criminal background check issued within the last 60 days are required for all successful applicants.
Completion of intake paperwork, including submission of a valid tax identification number (e.g., Social Security Number, Social Insurance Number, or the country’s equivalent), is required prior to onboarding.
Confirmation that all designs, source files and work products created during the engagement will belong to the client.
Confirmation that confidential or unpublished materials will not be shared in the applicant’s public portfolio without written permission.
Working Hours:
Full Time (40 hours per week)
Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM Eastern Time
Pay: CAD 1,100 + CAD 70 Allowance per month
