Our comprehensive compensation package includes competitive salaries, highly valued health insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, paid parental leave, and more.The Data Governance Analyst I’s primary responsibility is supporting the integrity, quality, and usability of enterprise data across systems and business functions.Role And ResponsibilitiesSupport data governance initiatives related to data quality, standardization, and documentationAssist in validating and profiling datasets to identify data quality issues and inconsistenciesHelp maintain data definitions, data dictionaries, and metadata documentationPartner with team members to understand business requirements and support basic data mapping effortsExecute predefined data quality checks and assist in resolving data discrepanciesSupport data migration and integration activities through documentation and validation tasksUse SQL to query and validate data under guidance from senior team membersCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure adherence to data governance standardsDocument processes, workflows, and data-related procedures clearly and accuratelyContribute to continuous improvement efforts to strengthen data governance processesQualificationsFoundational knowledge in data governance and quality managementBasic Experience in gathering requirements and analyzing processes for improvementExperience in systems engineering and integrationBasic experience with SQL, DataBricks and/or database expertiseBasic Experience in writing technical documentationAbility to collaborate with team members and stakeholdersStrong attention to detail and analytical thinking skillsMental And Physical DemandsThis position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work in or around computers and printers.The nature of the work is sedentary, and the employee will be sitting most of the time.Essential physical functions of the job include typing and the repetitive motion to utilize computer software and hardware continuously throughout the day.Essential mental functions of this position include concentrating on analytical tasks, reading information, and verbal/written communication to others continuously throughout the day.Related Duties As AssignedThis job description documents the general nature and level of work but is not intended to be a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities required for this position.
