About the Team/RoleThe Corporate Payments Partnerships Team is seeking a high-performing Partner Growth Specialist to drive the activation and transaction volume of our Tech/SaaS and AP automation partners. In this results-oriented role, you will serve as the premier WEX Subject Matter Expert (SME), bridging the gap between software capabilities and tangible financial value. Reporting directly to the Director of Partner Payments, you will collaborate cross-functionally with multiple WEX business units to orchestrate winning go-to-market strategies. By combining consultative expertise with high-energy sales enablement, you will accelerate partner success, coach external teams, and actively co-sell to close end-customer deals. Enjoy the flexibility of a home-based position while delivering a massive, tangible impact on our global growth.How you'll make an impactCollaborate closely with internal Business Development, Partner Management, and Operations teams to drive strategic alignment, optimize partner sales success, and ensure the seamless delivery of client services. (10%)Empower external client-partners by coaching their sales teams to position digital payments as revenue generators by capturing interchange revenue that typically leaks to third parties. (25%)Serve as the Embedded Payments SME by acting as the primary consultative expert on joint external sales calls, elevating the overall selling capabilities of our external partner teams and building their confidence in the WEX ecosystem. (35%)Simplify complex solutions by translating intricate integration and financial concepts into compelling value propositions for end-customers, clearly explaining the benefits of virtual cards, working capital, float, automated invoice capture, and seamless accounting reconciliation. (15%)Accelerate deal closure and TPV growth by actively co-selling, educating prospects on our network of over one million pre-enrolled suppliers, and guiding complex end-customer deals across the finish line. (20%)Experience you'll bringBachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, partner enablement, or channel success, ideally within the corporate payments or fintech space.Proven track record of managing partner growth, meeting aggressive volume targets, and guiding complex sales cycles to successful completion.Strong understanding of complex solution selling and financial services, with prior experience in digital payments, corporate cards, or virtual cards.Experience with AP automation or accounting platforms, including the ability to articulate the operational benefits of automated reconciliation and data delivery.High emotional intelligence with the flexibility to adapt to various partner cultures while establishing trust and accountability across all levels—from technical leads to C-level executives.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead joint sales presentations, simplify complex technical concepts, and tailor messaging to diverse audiences.The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
