Requirements and responsibilities

Seeking a Principal Engineer to serve as the functional domain expert for Siemens Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) OpCenter EXDS Logistics. This strategic role bridges business requirements with system capabilities to optimize inbound/outbound logistics, warehouse management, and inventory operations at the battery plant.This individual will lead process mapping, backlog management, and implementation guidance while ensuring end-user adoption through training and change management support.Roles & Responsibilities:Act as the primary functional domain expert for Siemens MOM OpCenter EXDS LogisticsLead process mapping workshops with manufacturing and logistics stakeholders to identify gaps and translate requirements into functional specificationsProvide implementation guidance to the development team based on deep knowledge of OpCenter EXDS capabilitiesBuild and maintain a detailed product backlog in Jira, ensuring user stories and epics are refined and tied to measurable business valuePartner with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on operational impact and feasibilityAct as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and development squadsLead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectivesStay current with Siemens OpCenter EXDS capabilities and broader MES/LES industry trendsDrive end-user adoption through training plans, user guides, and hands-on coachingRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related discipline8+ years of experience in MES/LES environments with 5+ years working8+ with Siemens OpCenter (preferably EXDS)Demonstrated expertise in logistics operations including inbound/outbound processes, warehouse management, and inventory controlStrong ability to build and manage a product backlog and author detailed user storiesExperience acting as a business-IT liaison in Agile delivery teamsExcellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with EXDS Logistics module specifically in automotive or battery manufacturingExposure to Logistics Execution Systems (LES) in addition to MES platformsSAFe or Scrum certificationKnowledge of (TPS) and Lean logistics principlesWe are Hiring forMES ConsultantLocation: RemoteDuration: 12 monthsOpCenter FunctionalSkills: Camstar (Siemens Opcenter)Experience Required: 8-10Thanks & RegardsAPN Consulting IncVishal.j@apnconsultinginc.com
