MA Estudio is currently seeking a Computational Designer / Parametric Design Specialist to join our team for a confidential international design competition.We are looking for a designer who is passionate about architecture, landscape, computational thinking and design exploration. This role will work directly with the lead architect to develop parametric systems that support the evolution of a complex architectural proposal over the next 12 weeks.YOUR ROLEWork directly with the lead architect to build parametric systems in Grasshopper that allow rapid design exploration and iteration.You will translate architectural decisions into controllable parameters and keep the model responsive as the design evolves.WHAT YOU WILL BUILDParametric site model from topographic dataDistribution and placement algorithms for architectural programSpatial sequence analysis (proportion, compression, rhythm)Organic surface generation for complex architectural languageSolar and wind integration with Ladybug (or collaboration with our environmental consultant)Visualization outputs via Lumion, D5 Render or EnscapeMUST HAVERhino 8 + Grasshopper at advanced levelAbility to build parametric logic from scratchUnderstanding of architectural space and proportionExperience working under competition deadlinesPortfolio showing Grasshopper definitions you built yourselfNICE TO HAVELadybug / Honeybee experiencePython or C# in GrasshopperGIS and topographic workflowsLumion, D5 Render or EnscapeAbility to communicate effectively in Spanish is preferred but not requiredMODALITYRemote freelance20–30 hours/week12-week engagementNDA required before project briefing.STARTImmediatelyPlease send: Portfolio, CV / Resume, Examples of Grasshopper definitions or computational workflows, Availability to: proyectos@estudioma.mx
