This job is best suited for an individual with 3-5 years' experience in the Government Contracting Industry.Responsibilities include:Accounts Payable:Processes accounts payable PO vouchers in Deltek CostpointSends accounts payable report to Director of Accounting for approval of paymentPrepares payment for accounts payable in Deltek CostpointInvestigates all vendor related inquiriesProcesses Expense Reports and reconciles Company Credit Cards in Deltek Time & ExpenseAccounts Receivable:Records electronic deposits to client recordsRecords cash receipts to client recordsCash and Credit Card Accounts:Reconciles cash dailyMaintains a cash flow reconciliation dailyReconciles bank accounts, credit cards and loans monthlyProvides Director of Accounting with reconciliations for review and approvalReporting:File monthly and quarterly reports with appropriate agenciesEnter journal entries as neededMaintain records and work with outside auditorsContract complianceFixed Assets:Update fixed assets in asset tracker for additions and deletionsMaintain records for fixed asset purchases and disposalsQualifications:Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense Required2 -4 years' experience in an accounting and Government Contracting position requiredBachelor's degree in accounting or business administration with a concentration in accounting requiredMust be a motivated self-starterSelf-motivated, driven positive attitudeGreat team player and able to work under tight timelines and pressureUnwavering attention to detail and superb organizational skillsWillingness to listen and learn, with ability to multi-taskWe Offer:Our benefits typically meet or exceed our competitors’ packages.
