We’re looking for an SEO Specialist with hands-on experience in SEMrush (Core and/or Enterprise) and a deep interest in the evolving landscape of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and AI-driven search.If you’re passionate about local SEO, love digging into data, and enjoy turning insights into measurable ranking improvements across both traditional and AI-powered search engines, this role is for you.What You’ll DoAs an SEO Specialist, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert in local SEO and collaborate closely with our SEO Team and Account Team to ensure our clients remain visible not just on Google, but within the AI search tools and LLMs that customers use today.Core ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive SEO audits on client websites using on-site best practicesImplement and optimize SEO and AEO strategies on CGI-built WordPress (Divi) websitesExecute SEO / AEO improvements on third-party CMS platforms (Squarespace, GoDaddy, Wix, Weebly, etc.)Perform ongoing keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimizationManage SEO campaigns using SEMrush Core and/or SEMrush EnterpriseMonitor rankings, technical health, and performance metrics using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrushTranslate data insights into actionable strategies for the Account TeamPresent emerging SEO and AI search trends, updates, and algorithm changes on a bi-monthly basisWork with the SEO Team Manager to develop and refine internal SEO processes to improve efficiency and client outcomesWhat Makes You a Strong Fit2+ years of SEO or digital marketing experienceProven experience executing and managing local SEO campaignsUnderstanding of AEO and what drives AI / LLM visibilityYou are passionate about SEO and driving real results for local businessesYou have hands-on experience with SEMrush Core and/or SEMrush EnterpriseYou understand local SEO strategy, including on-page, technical, and content optimizationYou’re comfortable working inside WordPress and other CMS platformsYou’re familiar with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO toolsetsYou have strong analytical skills and enjoy working with performance dataYou are detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlinesYou communicate clearly, both written and verbalStrong problem-solving mindset and process improvement experienceYou can work independently while collaborating effectively with a teamFamiliarity with AI tools (GPTs, Agents, etc.) for research, task / workflow efficiency, or funSalary Range$40,000 - $45,000Eligible for Performance-Based Quarterly Bonuses
