Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud environmentsPerform installation, configuration, upgrades, and Site migrationsHandle backup, restore, and server monitoring activities using TSMTroubleshoot performance, backgrounder, and extract refresh issuesDevelop automation scripts for Tableau administration tasks like database backupWork on Linux-based Tableau environments and server maintenanceCoordinate with infrastructure and network teams for connectivity and securityRequired Skills:Strong experience in Tableau Server AdministrationHands-on experience with Tableau Cloud and migration projectsGood knowledge of TSM, backup, and restore processesExperience with Linux administration and shell scripting including SSL configurationStrong troubleshooting and performance tuning skillsUnderstanding of Tableau architecture, ports, and server processes as per standard practicesExperience with Python/Shell scriptingExposure to AWS/Azure environmentsProactive CommunicationIndependently drive technical deliverablesGood to Have: Tableau certification preferred
