Requirements and responsibilities

We are seeking an Engineer to design, implement, and maintain autonomous AI systems (agents) that can reason, plan, and execute multi-step tasks with minimal human intervention. Unlike standard prompt engineers, you will build systems that manage their own memory, use external tools, and handle complex workflows. Key Responsibilities in this Role: - Building Agentic Workflows: Developing autonomous agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing multi-step tasks rather than just generating text. - Implementing MCP Servers: Creating or configuring MCP servers to act as the "universal connector," allowing LLMs to seamlessly access enterprise tools, databases, and APIs (e.g., Jira, GitHub, databases). - Enabling Tool Execution: Moving beyond passive AI to active AI by using MCP to enable models to trigger actions—like updating CRM data or launching marketing campaigns—securely. - Orchestration & Context Management: Managing how agents share context and collaborate, ensuring they understand the "bigger picture" of a task while pulling relevant information from scattered sources. - Governance & Security: Implementing safety, security, and compliance protocols (e.g., PII masking, access control) when agents act autonomously. Core Skill Set: - Proficiency in any of the following: Python, Java, Node.js. - Frameworks: Familiarity with orchestration tools like HermesAI. - MCP Principles: Understanding how to create standard APIs that allow AI to interact with software, similar to a "USB-C port" for AI models. - LLMs: Experience with models like Claude, GPT, or others capable of tool calling. Qualification: - Degree in Computer Science or any related discipline. - Minimum of 5 years progressive development experience.
