Blue Recruitment Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing facilities management company based in Essex.This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 to £60,000/year, plus excellent benefits including a company van, fuel card, and flexible working arrangements.You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas and heating systems across multiple client sites in Essex, with regular travel into London and the wider South East region as needed.Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, standard working hours with flexibility required to cover client needs across the region. Occasional overtime and on-call opportunities may be available.Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintain, and repair commercial gas and heating systemsCarry out gas safety inspections and compliance checksUndertake fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial systemsWork on LPG systems where requiredPerform general plumbing and building maintenance tasksDeliver high-quality customer service across multiple client sitesWork independently and manage your own schedule efficientlyRequirementsStrong commercial gas servicing and maintenance experienceCurrent Gas Safe registration (essential)Proven LPG experienceExcellent fault-finding and diagnostic skillsFull UK driving licence (essential)Comfortable working independently and managing your own workloadHigh standard of customer service and communication skillsSuitable ExperienceIdeal candidates will have a solid background in commercial gas engineering, ideally within a facilities management or multi-site maintenance environment.
