Senior ServiceNow Developer (Release Management) — 2 openings, Contract through end of year with likely 6-12 month extension, Shift B (1:00 PM - 10:30 PM IST), Start ASAP, Remote, Bill Rate TBD.
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in ServiceNow Release Management to design, develop, and support enterprise release management solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing and enhancing Release Management, Change Management, DevOps integrations, and deployment automation while ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow Release Management solutions; customize Release Management workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, Script Includes, Flow Designer flows, and catalog items; configure release lifecycles, phases, milestones, tasks, approvals, and deployment workflows; integrate Release Management with Change Management, CMDB, DevOps, Agile Development, and CI/CD tools; develop REST and SOAP integrations with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab, Jira; build Flow Designer automations for approvals, notifications, deployment tasks; develop reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics for release KPIs; ensure compliance with ITIL, governance, and audit requirements; support production releases; mentor junior developers.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent; 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience; 3+ years hands-on with ServiceNow Release Management; strong ITSM module experience; advanced JavaScript on ServiceNow; REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, IntegrationHub Spokes; experience integrating ServiceNow with CI/CD and DevOps platforms; strong SDLC, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, ITIL knowledge; experience with Update Sets, Source Control, Application Repository, deployment strategies.
