In this role, you’ll perform audits and analyze data to uphold the highest standards of annotated data quality, directly contributing to accelerating science at Mistral.Key Responsibilities:Create, audit, and evaluate both technical (e.g., function calling, structured outputs) and generalist (e.g., tone, style) human data annotations, ensuring alignment with model behavior specifications and annotation guidelinesExecute quality assurance processes and work closely with technical program managers to:Identify annotation errors or inconsistenciesSynthesize feedback for annotators, resolve ambiguities, and improve annotation guidelines.Report insights on annotator observations on model behaviorLeverage and maintain tools and scripts thatAnalyze annotated datasets for trends, patterns, and systemic issuesAutomate quality checks, generate reports, and streamline workflowsQualifications & Profile:Education & Experience: Relevant academic background and proven experience in data annotation, quality assurance, and using annotation tools.Analytical mindset: Ability to identify trends and root causes of data quality issues. Basic coding skills (Python, SQL).Language Skills: Expert reading and writing skills, with the ability to pass a written test. Multilingual capabilities are an asset.
