Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, your mission is to:Develop backend processing services that perform complex calculations and data transformationsBuild integration layers to interact with multiple databases (SQL/NoSQL) and third-party APIsDesign and implement RESTful APIs for both client-facing and internal servicesTake responsibility for the development and implementation of our core algorithms and back-end data pipelines, based on project requirements and design specificationsDiscuss the roadmap in collaboration with the product team, helping them build ambitious yet sustainable plansIt will be a match if you are or have…Circa 3-5 years' of experience as a data focused Software EngineerBSc/MSc in computer science, computer engineering or equivalentSignificant experience working with Python (FastAPI is a plus)Comfortable with SQL and NoSQL databases for OLTP and OLAP usagesProficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIsUnderstanding of performance optimization and caching strategiesComfortable working with Git, code reviews, and Agile methodologiesStrong command of written and spoken EnglishDesirableExperience with AirflowHave experience with AWS (or another cloud provider), using TerraformExperience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)Knowledge of JVM languages (Scala or Java ideally) and experience with KafkaKnowledge of microservices architectureAbout the CompanyWe are a dynamic company dedicated to nurturing connections and innovating solutions to tackle market challenges head-on.
