Requirements and responsibilities

About the CompanyDEX Screener is a real-time analytics platform for decentralized markets, serving millions of traders worldwide with fast, reliable, and intuitive data tools. As a lean, fully remote team, we build high-performance, information-dense products for serious users who depend on clarity, speed, and precision. Our product operates in a unique corner of crypto. It is fast-moving, unconventional, and highly transparent. We do not function like a traditional tech company. There are no large departments, layered approvals, or extended planning cycles. We build, ship, observe real-world usage, and iterate quickly. We are a profitable and financially strong company with long-term stability and a significant runway. While crypto markets fluctuate, our platform is built for durability and sustained growth.Design decisions here have an immediate impact. When something ships, millions of users see it. Feedback is direct, candid, and fast. That tight feedback loop is a core part of the role and a meaningful opportunity to shape a product used at a global scale.About the RoleThis is a highly hands-on individual contributor role. We are looking for a designer who wants to be in Figma daily, designing, refining, and shipping. You will work on dense dashboards, charts, token pages, analytics tools, and trading-related interfaces across web and mobile. Our UI contains significant numerical data, compact components, and complex information hierarchies. Every pixel matters. This role is execution-focused. We do not run extended research cycles or formal UX processes. We prioritize momentum and iteration in production. You will design, ship, monitor real-world feedback across community channels, and continuously refine the product. You will not be expected to code your designs. You will be expected to collaborate closely with engineers and ensure design intent is executed properly.Over time, the goal is ownership. Within 6–12 months, you should be able to operate with strong autonomy and deep intuition about what works in our product and market.ResponsibilitiesDesign and redesign complex, data-heavy interfaces across desktop and mobileCreate thoughtful variations of dense screens that improve hierarchy and clarityCollaborate directly with founders and engineers in a small, fast-moving teamIterate rapidly based on user sentiment and real-world behaviorMonitor community feedback and proactively identify areas for improvementEstablish and evolve a practical design system in FigmaDefine and document reusable components without slowing executionQualifications:5+ years of product design experienceStrong UI craft, particularly in dashboards, analytics, or data visualizationExperience designing information-dense interfaces with complex hierarchiesComfort working within constraints rather than starting from scratchExperience across both web and mobileA mindset that values shipping and iteration over process formalitiesWillingness to remain hands-on rather than move into managementDashboards, Web3, Fintech, or data visualization experience preferredCrypto experience is helpful but not required. Some familiarity with crypto tools, terminology, and platforms is required.Design Environment:We use Figma. We do not currently have a formal design system. Part of this role is bringing structure, reusable components, and documentation to our existing foundation without introducing unnecessary process overhead. This is not a role for someone looking to build a heavily documented, enterprise-grade system over months. It is a role for someone who can bring order while maintaining speed.Compensation: Compensation and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.Job Details:Duration: No fixed duration (full-time hours, hired as an independent contractor)Commitment: 40 hours per weekLocation: Fully remoteTimezones: Working hours must include an overlapping 3-4 hours with Brazil, Western time zones preferred up to CET (Central European)Team: Small team, direct communication, high ownership, and autonomy.
