About the Company: Sagan represents a US-based, growth-stage company operating in a content-driven environment where brand authority, execution speed, and scalable marketing systems are critical to success. Position Overview: The Head of Content (Director-Level) will own the end-to-end content function, setting strategy while building the operational engine to execute it. This role is responsible for driving content impact across the business through strong leadership, clear prioritization, and scalable systems. Key Responsibilities: Define and lead the company’s content strategy aligned with business objectives. Determine channel and format priorities based on performance and ROI. Build, manage, and develop a high-performing content team. Design and implement content workflows, standards, and measurement systems. Partner with marketing, growth, and leadership teams to support company-wide initiatives. Balance strategic leadership with hands-on oversight to ensure execution quality. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial leadership, or content operations. Proven experience leading teams and scaling content functions. Strong strategic judgment with the ability to execute in fast-moving environments. Excellent written and spoken English. Experience working with US-based companies or global teams. Nice to Haves: Experience owning multi-channel content strategies. Background in B2B, SaaS, or performance-focused marketing environments. Prior agency or startup experience.
