Regional Sales Director – Central & Eastern Europe Enterprise Software | Deep Technology | Quantum Computing Location: Poland (Remote) A high-impact opportunity to establish and lead the commercial presence of an innovative quantum software company across Central & Eastern Europe. About the Company Our client is an innovative, rapidly growing technology company helping organizations turn the potential of quantum computing into practical business applications. Its advanced software platform enables enterprises and public-sector organizations to develop, optimize, and deploy quantum solutions across multiple computing environments. The company already works with major global enterprises, government organizations, and research institutions across several industries. As the quantum computing market progresses from experimentation toward commercial adoption, the company is entering an important stage of international growth and category leadership. About the Role As the first dedicated commercial leader for Eastern Europe, you will play a key role in establishing the company’s presence across one of the world’s fastest-growing quantum technology ecosystems. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor sales role combining new-business development, strategic enterprise selling, and regional market creation. Beyond closing enterprise opportunities, you will engage with government initiatives, industry partners, and leading research organizations. You will also influence the regional go-to-market strategy and help establish the foundation for the company’s long-term growth across Eastern Europe. What You’ll Do Own the complete sales cycle, from identifying and prospecting new accounts through executive engagement, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure. Navigate complex buying organizations involving chief scientists, CTOs, CDOs, CIOs, heads of innovation and R&D, procurement teams, and C-suite economic buyers. Lead executive-level discovery to uncover business challenges that advanced and quantum computing technologies may address—often before customers have clearly defined the opportunity. Manage focused, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes from initial engagement through contract execution, typically within three- to six-month sales cycles. Collaborate closely with product, solutions consulting, customer success, marketing, and legal teams. Communicate a compelling strategic value proposition and position the company as a long-term partner rather than a point-solution provider. Structure initial agreements with future account expansion in mind. Contribute to territory planning, vertical-specific messaging, competitive positioning, and regional go-to-market development. Represent the company at relevant quantum technology, enterprise innovation, and industry-specific conferences. Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline using disciplined qualification and accurate forecasting. Who You Are At least five years of enterprise software or technology ecosystem sales experience, with a proven record of closing deals valued at $200K+ in annual contract value. Experience selling deep-tech SaaS, advanced computing, or other technically complex solutions is an advantage. Demonstrated success selling to large global enterprises, supported by specific examples, deal values, and performance results. Experience selling within an emerging or pre-mainstream category where educating the market and creating buyer understanding were essential. Able to engage credibly with highly technical stakeholders, including engineers, scientists, researchers, and PhD-level decision-makers. Experienced in managing complex enterprise deals involving technical champions, business stakeholders, and VP- or C-suite-level economic buyers. Comfortable operating with an evolving sales playbook and contributing to its development. An excellent communicator and relationship builder with a consultative, strategic sales approach. Comfortable working independently within an agile and fast-moving startup environment. Fluent in English and either Polish or Romanian, with excellent written and spoken communication skills in both languages. Additional Advantages A technical degree; an MBA would be an additional advantage. Experience working for a company that created or helped establish a new enterprise software category. Strong knowledge of one or more relevant industries, such as chemicals and materials, advanced manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, financial services, or aerospace and defense. Previous responsibility for an annual quota exceeding $2M in recurring revenue, with a documented history of achievement. Experience in quantum computing, scientific or advanced simulation, electronic design automation, high-performance computing, or AI/ML infrastructure during an early stage of market adoption.
