SendCutSend is looking for an experienced 5-Axis Milling Estimator to help turn complex customer designs into production-ready parts.In this remote role, you’ll perform detailed Design for Manufacturability reviews, evaluate machining strategies in Fusion 360 CAM, and work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure every project is accurately scoped and aligned with our CNC capabilities.What you’ll do:Review complex CNC machining orders for manufacturabilityIdentify risks involving geometry, toolpaths, workholding, feeds, and speedsModify and optimize customer files using Fusion 360 CAMEvaluate machining strategies and production requirementsClearly explain DFM concerns and recommendations to customersPartner with Support, Programming, and Production teamsImprove estimating processes, documentation, and DFM workflowsWhat we’re looking for:3+ years of direct experience programming 5-axis CNC mills with Fusion 360 CAMStrong knowledge of machining strategies and toolpath optimizationAbility to identify manufacturability risks in complex part geometryClear, professional written communication skillsExperience collaborating with programming and production teamsAbility to independently manage multiple reviews in a fast-paced environmentBonus points for experience with CNC milling in a production environment, complex-part quoting, high-mix/low-volume workflows, CAM automation, or customer-facing technical support.SendCutSend serves more than 150,000 engineers, fabricators, and businesses across the U.S. and Canada.
