Our mission is to facilitate collaboration between payers and providers for mutual benefit and waste reduction, ultimately improving access to healthcare.The Product Owner’s primary responsibility is product planning and execution of our initiatives in alignment with the product management team. This role works closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals.Role and ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with Product Management to execute on vision, strategy and roadmapOwn and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are clearly defined and stakeholder needs are accurately representedTranslate user needs into clear, actionable JIRA ticketsDefine user stories and acceptance criteria that are clear, testable, and aligned to business objectivesCollaborate with internal teams on a routine basis to identify product needs and prioritizationsSupport Engineering efforts in release planning, backlog refinement, execution and delivery timelinesParticipate in testing and validation of new features to ensure functionality meets quality requirementsPartner with QA to ensure acceptance criteria accurately support test creationMonitor feature adoption and gather feedback to inform improvements and refinementsServe as primary liaison, facilitating requirement discussions between Engineering and cross-functional stakeholdersDevelop a deep understanding of customer workflows, operational processes, and healthcare business needsAdvocate for end-user experience throughout development lifecyclesEscalate issues and recommendations to the Product Management as neededCollaborate with Finance and other teams as needed to support business cases and ROI analysisQualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related fieldExperience in project management or product lifestyle including ownership of backlog, prioritization, requirements and releases requiredExperience with presenting to upper managementEntrepreneurial spirit, self-starterAble to break down complex technical problems and processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailProven ability to influence cross-functional teamsPreferred SkillsDemonstrate anintellectual curiosity to explore why and when behind clinical decisionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership skillsAbility to handle complex situationsExperience working in Microsoft Teams and JIRA strongly preferredExperience working with healthcare technology preferredBackground with product demonstrations strongly preferredMental and Physical DemandsThis position will be exposed mainly to an indoor/office environment and will be expected to work in or around computers and printers.The nature of the work is sedentary, and the employee will be sitting most of the time.Essential physical functions of the job include typing and the repetitive motion to utilize computer software and hardware continuously throughout the day.Essential mental functions of this position include concentrating on analytical tasks, reading information, and verbal/written communication to others continuously throughout the day.Related Duties As AssignedThis job description documents the general nature and level of work but is not intended to be a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities required for this position.
