They deliver experiences that are measured against excellence, from concept to completion.The Senior Account Director is a senior client services leader responsible for overseeing experiential and live event programs across multiple brands while leading internal account teams and partnering closely with Production, Field Marketing, and Operations.Based in New York, this role serves as a primary senior contact for clients and is accountable for strategic leadership, executional excellence, team development, and financial oversight across assigned accounts. The Senior Account Director ensures programs are delivered on time and on budget, aligned with client objectives, and identifies opportunities for account growth and long-term partnership development.This role is ideal for an experienced agency professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings a strong strategic perspective, and can confidently manage complex programs and teams.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESServe as the senior day-to-day client lead across assigned experiential and live event accounts.Act as a trusted strategic partner to clients, translating objectives into best-in-class experiential programsLead client meetings, presentations, and planning sessions, serving as a key escalation point.Oversee the end-to-end experiential process from concept development through execution and wrap-up.Collaborate with clients to build comprehensive workback schedules and activation timelines.Ensure internal and external teams are aligned and accountable to milestones and deliverables.Provide strategic oversight across creative development, production execution, staffing, and logistics.Anticipate challenges and proactively drive solution-oriented decision-making.Manage, mentor, and develop Account Managers, Account Executives, and junior team members.Assess resourcing needs across program lifecycles and partner with leadership on staffing requests.Oversee budget development, ongoing financial management, and final reconciliation across programs.Review estimates, invoices, and financial documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.Ensure programs are delivered within scope, on time, and on budget.Lead post-event reporting efforts, ensuring insights, results, and recommendations are clearly communicated.Translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights tied to client objectives.Identify executional trends, optimization opportunities, and growth areas across accounts.Collaborate closely with Production, Field Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.Support new business initiatives, RFPs, and pitch development as needed.Stay informed on experiential, cultural, and industry trends and apply learnings to client work.Represent the company professionally at client meetings, activations, and industry events.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS7–10+ years of experiential marketing or live events experience in an agency client services roleProven success leading complex experiential programs from concept through activationDemonstrated experience managing and developing junior account team membersStrong background in alcohol / spirits-based experiential marketing preferredExceptional client-facing, communication, and presentation skillsHighly organized, strategic thinker with strong attention to detailProven ability to manage multiple brands and activations simultaneouslyStrong budget development and financial management experienceProficiency with Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and project management tools (Monday.com preferred)Based in the greater NYC regionWhy Choose UsAt Pronghorn, we don’t offer jobs — we offer impact.
