Requirements and responsibilities

Required Qualification: • Deep expertise in IEEE 802.11 standards: 802.11a/b/g/n (Wi-Fi 4), 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6/6E), 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7), WFA specification (Easymesh) • Hands-on proficiency in Wi-Fi user-space tools and modules: wpa_supplicant, hostapd, iw, nl80211 • Strong Linux kernel knowledge — Wi-Fi driver development, cfg80211/nl80211 architecture • Proficiency in C and C++; working knowledge of Python and Java • Experience in RDKB platform is preferable. • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, 802.1X/EAP authentication, and network diagnostics tools (Wireshark, tcpdump) • Experience with WFA certification tooling: sigma-dut, QuickTrack, testbed configuration, wireshark etc. • Proficiency with version control systems: git (primary), Perforce, SVN • Familiarity with project tracking tools: Jira, Buganizer
