The role involves a wide range of duties, including delivering and retrieving patient trays, stocking supplies, operating a POS system, portioning food, and general cleaning responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency, with customer service and/or food service experience preferred but not necessary. On-the-job training will be provided. Responsibilities: - Prepare, set, and serve all food as directed, ensuring proper temperatures and portion sizes - Perform minor food preparation and portioning tasks in accordance with departmental policy - Prepare and gather items needed for snacks and breaks and ensure they are delivered to the proper areas - Help in tray assembly and deliver trays to patients in accordance with established procedures - Utilize established patient identifiers to ensure patient safety and double check tray for accuracy and nutrition order compliance prior to delivery - Ensure proper food quality and temperature and maintain cleanliness in the foodservice department
