We are seeking a Shopify Technical Lead to take full ownership of our e-commerce infrastructure. This is a senior technical role responsible for managing the Shopify platform, ensuring optimal performance, and leading back-end, front-end, and integration development efforts.
Technical Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
* Over 5 years of hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms, including at least 3 years with Shopify, in a technical leadership role.
* Proficiency in Liquid, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
* Strong knowledge of SEO, performance optimization, and analytics tools such as GA4 and Hotjar.
* Experience with third-party app integrations and custom app development.
* Proven experience in leadership and project management is highly preferred.
* Business-oriented mindset focused on scalability, performance, and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the Shopify ecosystem, including product catalog, site speed, and app integrations.
* Lead custom development projects, from creating new features to resolving technical issues.
* Implement and maintain SEO best practices to maximize visibility and organic traffic.
* Integrate Shopify with CRM systems, marketing tools, analytics platforms, and payment gateways.
* Monitor site performance, conversion rates, and sales funnels to identify areas for improvement.
* Supervise and mentor developers or agency partners, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery.
* Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to support campaigns and promotions.
* Stay up to date with Shopify and e-commerce trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
