Responsible for determining optimal approach to testing complex products or solutions in order to assure compliance with applicable specifications. This includes identifying and recommending product or solution characteristics that optimize their ability to be tested or to provide test data for diagnostic purposes. Combines customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations. Responsibilities: - Assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions - Performs all functional duties independently - Works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently - May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job - Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs - Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff - Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for mission critical challenges/issues
