The Facilities Associate is primarily responsible for support of the Nextern Campus, with a focus on janitorial cleaning, preventive maintenance, facilities support, and minor exterior upkeep. The preferred candidate will take great pride in the appearance of the campus, reflecting the image of a world class facility. This position must demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a clean and safe work area. Responsibilities: - Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc) - Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities - Align work direction with contract Cleaning and Maintenance services - Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects - Daily and Weekly Site Audits focused on Repair and Safety - Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs - Make adjustments and minor repairs - Stock and maintain supply rooms - Cooperate with the rest of the staff - Follow all health and safety regulations - Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, reports damaged items and shortages - Routes items to departments - Uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area - Uses Fork Lift to move shipments between two (2) warehouses - Assists the production team when necessary, as time allows
