The Senior Recruiter is part of the Host Healthcare Recruitment team and is responsible for successful placements of clinicians on assignment across multiple healthcare specialties and clients. The role involves developing strong relationships with clinicians nationwide, understanding their clinical and specialty experience, and placing them in open temporary job opportunities across health systems, acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health organizations and more. The successful candidate is expected to be self-motivated, creative, energetic, with excellent interpersonal communication skills, professional demeanor and maturity, and a positive outlook.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently meet and/or exceed sales goals by driving new placements and retention of clinicians on assignment.
- Actively prospect, pre-screen and activate candidate leads through cold calling, email and text blasting.
- Identify relevant open job opportunities that match the candidate’s specialty experience and professional interests.
- Understand clinician job requirements and create compelling candidate profiles for submission to hiring managers.
- Follow up daily on active candidate submissions and collaborate with account managers to ensure candidates move rapidly through the hiring process.
- Ensure interviews are scheduled and work with account managers to solicit assignment and extension offers on behalf of candidates.
- Maintain strong rapport with clinicians on assignment to ensure a positive experience and actively drive assignment extensions and rebooking of clinicians at other facilities.
- Assist in resolving service or credentialing issues that may arise.
- Accurately enter all candidate and placement activity into the Host Healthcare database.
