The team supports a wide range of work across executive protection, protective intelligence, GSOC, events, investigations, risk, resilience, travel security, and security technology.As OpenAI scales, Corporate Security is building more advanced ways to understand risk, measure performance, automate workflows, and give leaders real-time visibility into what is happening across the function.About the roleWe are looking for a contractor to help Corporate Security build a best-in-class technology, data, and dashboard ecosystem using OpenAI tools including ChatGPT, Codex, agents, and other automation capabilities.Today, teams across Corporate Security are experimenting with their own Codex, ChatGPT, and automation projects. This role will help connect those efforts into one cohesive vision. You will partner with every Corporate Security team to understand their workflows, data, metrics, and long-term goals, then build the systems that bring everything together at the Corporate Security level.This is a hands-on technical role for someone who can think strategically, build quickly, and care deeply about data quality. The goal is not just to create dashboards, but to ensure the right data is flowing cleanly through the right systems so Corporate Security leaders can make faster, better decisions.In this role, you willPartner with teams across Corporate Security to understand their operational workflows, data sources, reporting needs, and automation goals.Build best-in-class dashboards and metrics that provide real-time visibility into Corporate Security operations, performance, risks, and program health.Use ChatGPT, Codex, agents, APIs, and automation tools to build scalable internal tools and workflows.Create a unified technical vision that connects team-level projects into a broader Corporate Security data and technology ecosystem.Assess current data sources and workflows, identify gaps, and improve the quality, consistency, and reliability of data.Design clean data pipelines and reporting structures across systems such as Airtable, Ontic, Jira, Asana, Google Workspace, and other Corporate Security tools.Build prototypes quickly, test with users, and iterate toward production-ready solutions.Help establish data standards, governance practices, and repeatable patterns for future Corporate Security technology builds.Translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical requirements and practical solutions.Serve as a technical partner to Corporate Security leadership on dashboards, automation, AI-enabled workflows, and data strategy.You might thrive in this role if youHave strong experience building dashboards, data products, internal tools, or automation systems in complex operating environments.Are comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and turning them into simple, scalable technical solutions.Have experience integrating systems through APIs, scripts, databases, and automation platforms.Care about data quality and know that dashboards are only as good as the data behind them.Can partner with non-technical stakeholders and quickly understand how their work actually happens.Are excited about using AI tools like ChatGPT, Codex, and agents to improve real-world operations.Can move between strategy and execution, from designing the architecture to building the actual workflow.Have strong judgment around privacy, access control, and responsible handling of sensitive operational data.Are highly organized, self-directed, and able to drive work across multiple stakeholders.Required qualifications5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, software engineering, solutions architecture, business systems, or a similar technical role.Experience integrating physical security and risk-management technologies, including access control, visitor management, threat intelligence, case management, and incident response platformsExperience building dashboards, reporting systems, or operational analytics products.Experience working with APIs, data pipelines, databases, scripts, or automation tools.Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate operational needs into technical solutions.Strong understanding of data quality, data modeling, and scalable reporting practices.Demonstrated ability to build practical tools in fast-moving environments.Preferred qualificationsExperience using ChatGPT, Codex, AI agents, or LLM-based tools to build internal workflows or automation.Experience with Airtable, Ontic, Jira, Google Workspace, Slack, or similar enterprise tools.Experience supporting security, risk, intelligence, operations, trust and safety, or enterprise resilience teams.Experience building executive-facing dashboards or metrics programs.Comfort with SQL, Python, JavaScript, APIs, and low-code/no-code platforms.Experience designing data governance, permissions, and access-control models for sensitive data.What success looks likeWithin the first few months, this contractor will have developed a clear understanding of Corporate Security’s systems, workflows, and existing Codex/ChatGPT projects. They will identify where data is fragmented, where quality needs to improve, and where teams are duplicating effort.Over time, this person will help create a connected Corporate Security data and technology ecosystem, including reliable data flows, cleaner source systems, stronger automation, and dashboards that give leadership a real-time view of Corporate Security operations.
