You will work closely with content creators, producers, and marketers to turn long-form and short-form recordings into polished, engaging video content optimized for digital platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesEdit long-form YouTube videos and video podcasts, including multi-camera edits where applicableCreate short-form clips (Shorts, Reels, TikToks) from podcast and YouTube contentApply clean cuts, pacing, basic motion graphics, captions, and sound balancing suitable for YouTube audiencesUse AI-powered tools to assist with editing workflows, captioning, clipping, noise reduction, and content optimizationCollaborate with producers and creators to implement feedback and revisions efficientlyEnsure all videos align with brand guidelines, platform best practices, and publishing requirementsOrganize project files and assets to support a smooth remote workflowRequired Qualifications1+ year of hands-on experience editing YouTube videos and/or video podcastsDemonstrated experience using modern AI tools in video editing workflows (e.g., AI-assisted editing, auto-captioning, audio cleanup, clip generation, or similar)Proficiency with at least one professional video editing platform (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)Strong understanding of YouTube and podcast content styles, pacing, and viewer engagementNon-negotiable: Prior experience working remotely, with fluency in remote collaboration tools and platforms such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana (or similar).
