RoleOur client is a character driven entertainment company in the comic and anime universe, with decades of storytelling across publishing, film, games, and digital media.They are seeking an AI Filmmaker Team Lead to combine cinematic storytelling and filmmaking with AI to transform scripts into fully produced visual content.The ideal candidate is a filmmaker first, someone who thinks in scenes, shots, pacing, and storytelling, knows camera movement and lens choices, with also hands on experience using AI Tools as part of the creative process.Initially, you will operate as an individual contributor, owning the production process from prompting and generation through editing and final assembly. Over time, you will transition into a leadership role overseeing AI generators and production workflows across multiple projects.ResponsibilitiesApply a director’s mindset to script interpretationTranslate scripts into visual outputs through structured prompting using AI toolsBreak scenes into organized shot sequences (wide, medium, close-up, transitions, pacing, etc)Edit and assemble clips into cohesive, story driven contentRefine outputs for narrative clarity, pacing, visual consistency, and emotional continuityExperiment with different AI models and workflows to achieve multiple visual stylesOptimize production workflows for scalability, consistency, and efficiencyEventually train and guide AI generators and team membersRequirementsProven cinematic narrative filmmaking experienceHands on experience using advanced video tools in a professional creative environment, including AI video generation models (such as Runway ML, Sora, Higgsfield, Kling, or similar) and post production softwares (such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid, or similar)Strong understanding of storytelling, shot composition, pacing, and cinematic structureExperience translating scripts into visual outputs using prompting and creative directionStrong English communication skills (C1/C2)Ability to independently manage full production workflows from generation to final deliveryHighly PreferredExperience working with animation, comic, anime, or entertainment related projectsAvailabilityPart-Time (20h per week) Must be available during U.S. Pacific Time business hours*While this role is structured to begin at 20 hours per week, there is flexibility to offer an immediate or expedited full-time position to a candidate who demonstrates high level creative and technical expertiseCompensationBased on skillsets
