This is not a passive, post-and-pray role. We need a hunter: someone who thrives in competitive markets, is not afraid to pick up the phone, and has a track record of filling hard-to-find clinical roles in underserved and rural geographies.You will own the full-cycle recruitment of Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other APP roles across Curana Health's growing footprint. Many of our most critical openings are in rural communities where traditional sourcing strategies fall short. Success in this role requires creative outreach, persistence, and the ability to build genuine relationships with clinicians who are not actively looking.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesExecute full-cycle recruitment for APP roles (NPs, PAs) with a focus on rural and underserved marketsProactively source and cold-call qualified candidates through Doximity, LinkedIn, professional associations, residency program networks, and other channelsBuild and maintain a robust pipeline of passive APP candidates through consistent outreach and relationship managementPartner with hiring managers and clinical leaders to understand role requirements, community context, and candidate fitDevelop and execute market-specific sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill geographic locationsConduct thorough candidate screenings to assess clinical competency, cultural alignment, and interest in rural practiceManage all candidate activity in iCIMS (ATS), maintaining accurate and timely documentation throughout the hiring lifecycleTrack and report on recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, sourcing channel effectiveness, and pipeline healthRepresent Curana Health at virtual and in-person recruiting events, conferences, and residency program outreachCollaborate with the broader TA team on process improvements, employer branding, and market intelligenceQualificationsRequired3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on APP, provider, or clinical recruitingDemonstrated success filling roles in rural, frontier, or underserved geographic marketsComfort with cold outreach: you initiate contact confidently and convert passive candidates into interested applicantsExperience sourcing through Doximity, LinkedIn Recruiter, or comparable clinical platformsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume, multi-requisition workloadExcellent verbal and written communication; you build trust quickly and represent the organization wellFamiliarity with ATS platforms (experience with iCIMS a plus)Self-directed and accountable in a remote work environmentPreferredExperience recruiting for post-acute care, geriatrics, primary care, or senior living organizationsKnowledge of APP licensure, credentialing basics, or clinical scopes of practiceTrack record building residency pipeline relationships or engaging new graduate APPsBackground using sourcing tools such as SeekOut or JuiceBox for clinical candidate identificationAgency recruiting experience in provider or APP staffing, bringing a high-activity, results-oriented approach to an in-house environmentWe’re thrilled to announce that Curana Health has been named the 147th fastest growing, privately owned company in the nation on Inc. magazine’s prestigious Inc. 5000 list.
