Requirements and responsibilities

The Accounting Leader will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the accounting department through supervision, with a keen attention to detail. This role will use strong accounting knowledge, time management skills, and effective problem solving to ensure success. Key Responsibilities: -Make monthly accounting closings; -Prepare and structure financial information according to current regulations and institutional policies. -Responsible for bank reconciliations and financial statements. -Prepares, manages and helps in the preparation and control of financial and budget plans in accordance with economic strategies. -Monitor and execute accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, payroll, and financial reporting functions to ensure policies and delivery dates are met. -Weekly preparation of disbursement table. -Responsible for the projection of income, costs and expenses for the updating of monthly reports. -Prepare journal entries corresponding to the end of each month. -Support in the preparation of taxes and audits. -Administrative support. -Manage special projects as needed.
