Lively is looking for a Lead Programmer to join their Leamington-based team. The role involves leading the code team, developing technical design specifications for complex projects, and implementing them. The Lead Programmer will also work with designers, artists, and other personnel involved in the development process to create the highest possible quality product. Responsibilities: - Lead code team, passing on experience and expertise and leads by example - Develop technical design specifications for complex projects and implement them - Design, develop, write, test and implement systems and game code - Work with designers, artists and other personnel involved in the development process - Test and refine gameplay features throughout the development cycle of the project - Mentor and conduct regular one to ones with project engineering team - Estimate own tasks and deliver high quality code to that schedule - Perform code reviews with the team to ensure code quality - Communicate effectively with our clients and maintain strong relationships with them
