- Chainguard is on a mission to secure the software supply chain by default - Founded by industry's leading experts on open source software, security, and cloud native development - Backed by Sequoia, Amplify Partners, the Chainsmokers, and more - Product portfolio includes Chainguard Images and Chainguard Services - Customer base includes Fortune 500 companies in banking, fintech, government, infrastructure, startups, and SMBs We are looking for a Director of Sales to join our rapidly growing team and manage a team of 5-7 Enterprise Account Executives. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling technical products, managing high-performing software sales teams, and driving business and revenue. This role offers the opportunity to lead a collaborative team, establish and report on metrics to measure team performance, and set the strategy for Chainguard’s largest accounts. If you have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance objectives and are passionate about securing the software supply chain, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: - Report directly to the VP of Sales and manage a team of 5-7 Enterprise Account Executives - Drive, manage, and execute the business and revenue of the sales team - Build a collaborative environment where your team can thrive, learn, and grow - Build and improve processes for AE onboarding and ramping - Prepare forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans - Establish and report on metrics to measure team performance - Drive alignment with supporting teams across marketing, customer success, BDR, sales engineering, and customer engineering - Set the strategy for Chainguard’s largest accounts
