Job DescriptionThe Construction Engineer is responsible for the technical coordination and preservation of the physical infrastructure within our residential communities. This role focuses on the structural and civil components of the property, ensuring that all repairs and renovations are executed to engineering standards. You will act as the technical lead, coordinating specialized crews to maintain the long-term value and safety of the building’s shell and common areas.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Coordination: Plan and oversee the execution of repair projects, including masonry, painting, waterproofing, and structural upkeep of residential units.Site Inspections: Perform routine technical inspections to identify any defects and prioritize them in the maintenance schedule.Contractor Supervision: Select and manage specialized contractors, ensuring their work aligns with the project’s technical specifications and safety codes.Work Order Management: Organize the workflow for daily repair requests, ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and within the established deadlines.Material Procurement: Estimate the quantity and quality of materials needed for repairs and manage the technical approval of suppliers.Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all structural interventions and warranties for civil works.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.Experience: Proven experience in coordinating construction crews or managing building maintenance in the US.Project Oversight: Strong ability to read blueprints, estimate costs (material take-offs), and manage complex work schedules.Technical Focus: In-depth knowledge of building materials, architectural finishes, and structural waterproofing.Communication: Professional ability to coordinate effectively between residents, management, and field workers.Analytical Skills: Strong capacity to diagnose structural pathologies and propose technical solutions.Leadership: Ability to lead and supervise multiple specialized contractors on-site simultaneously.WARNINGSNO TEMPORARY workers.The working schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm EST.NO working for another company at the same time.NO hiring subs to do what we hired you to do.We terminate immediately due to these violations.About the CompanyCitiside Properties is a property management company that manages properties for investors with portfolios of homes and/or multi-unit apartments needing off-site management.Core ValuesTrustTransparencyGo getter.
