We are EVERSANA.Job DescriptionPOSITION: Senior Associate, reporting to Associate Director - Engineering, will play an essential role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data systems are efficient, reliable, and capable of supporting complex analytical queries. Your role will involve a mix of hands-on technical work and strategic planning to support the organization's data needs. To be successful as a Senior Data Engineer at Eversana, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. Data engineer skills include familiarity with several programming languages and learning machine methods. RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store clinical, commercial, and operational data using Python, Airflow, and AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue).Assist in designing and optimizing data models and data warehouses using Snowflake.Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure data quality, availability, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GxP, HIPAA).Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and support reporting and analytics initiatives.Contribute to the documentation of ETL processes, data dictionaries, and lineage tracking to support data governance.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud data engineering and life sciences data management. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology.Proficiency in Python for scripting and data manipulation.Knowledge in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.Basic understanding of cloud services, especially AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM).Exposure to workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.Understanding of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with Snowflake or similar platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, regulated environment. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer ScienceProven experience (5+ years) as a Data Engineer.
