Requirements and responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize VMware Horizon VDI environments (Connection Servers, UAG, App Volumes).
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure using vSphere, ESXi, and Hyper-V.
- Maintain NAS & SAN storage and configure clusters.
- Provide direct support for the creation and maintenance of Golden Images and desktop pools.
- Continuous threat monitoring using SIEM, EDR, XDR, and MDR tools.
- Operate within the SOC framework for incident detection and response.
- Implement network security controls and vulnerability management.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR).
Required Qualifications:
Overall Experience:
- 2–3 years in IT Infrastructure.
Specialization:
- At least 1–2 years focused specifically on Virtualization (VMware).
- A solid 3-year track record in Cybersecurity/SOC operations.
Key Technologies:
- Proficiency in VMware Horizon, vSphere, Citrix, SIEM, and EDR platforms.
Technical Skills:
- Scripting abilities with PowerShell or Python for task automation.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills, self-management, and the ability to work independently.
