We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior C++ / Embedded Engineer to join a strong engineering team working on advanced solutions in the Defence Tech domain. The project is well-established and focuses on building reliable, high-performance systems that combine software and hardware in real-world environments. We are looking for a proactive and curious engineer who has a strong technical foundation, is eager to learn, and is excited to work with C++ in system-level and embedded environments. Location: - Bucharest (onsite, office-based work). Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering. - Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. - Understanding of programming in a multithreaded OS environment. - Experience with C++. - Familiarity with CMake or other build systems. - Basic understanding or exposure to Embedded Systems or low-level programming. - English and Romanian — Upper-Intermediate or higher. - Strong motivation to learn and grow in a complex technical environment. Nice to have: - Experience with Linux. - Understanding of real-time systems (RTOS). - Exposure to hardware-software integration. - Basic knowledge of REST APIs or web technologies. Responsibilities: - Work as a Junior C++ / Embedded Engineer within an engineering team. - Contribute to the development of system-level and embedded software components. - Collaborate with experienced engineers and learn best practices in real-time and low-level development. - Analyze and solve technical problems in a structured and logical way. - Take part in integrating software with hardware systems.
