Responsibilities

About the role We're looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to lead a distributed frontend team for a high-precision US tax preparation platform, where speed, accuracy and accessibility are critical. You'll unblock engineers, set frontend best practices and mentor the team while staying hands-on with React and TypeScript, owning features end to end from component architecture to production. You'll also collaborate with backend engineers and contribute to .NET services when needed. What you'll do - Lead day-to-day frontend work: planning, code reviews, unblocking and mentoring - Define frontend architecture, standards and best practices - Build high-performance, responsive and accessible interfaces in React and TypeScript - Own features end to end, from component design to production - Translate UX requirements into effective frontend solutions - Collaborate with backend engineers and contribute to .NET services when needed Requirements - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years with React in production - Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead or Engineering Manager, clearly documented in your resume - Deep expertise in modern React (hooks, functional components, state management) - Strong TypeScript, ES6+, REST APIs and asynchronous JavaScript - Solid understanding of user-centered design - C1 English or higher Nice to have - .NET / C# - Jest and React Testing Library - Experience in fintech, tax or other regulated domains
