We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our growing team. In this role you will be primarily working on accounting for direct and indirect customer revenue recognition for sales across each of the company's offerings.What you’ll be doing (Key Responsibilities): Financial Reporting Month-End CloseCompile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries, and document business processesAnalyze monthly revenue by stream to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenuePerform reconciliations for unbilled accruals, deferred revenue, and accounts receivableReporting OperationsReview contracts for proper revenue recognition in line with ASC 606Assist with preparing revenue reporting package, including revenue-related flux comments, revenue deep dive, and revenue-related disclosuresBuild processes and procedures to account for revenue and contra-revenue in accordance with ASC 606Support decision making and resolution of revenue-related accounting issues.Other ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with various teams to provide guidance on the impact of contractual arrangements and business decisions to ensure data readiness for month-end accountingSupport US GAAP auditsAssist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processesSupport system upgrades and implementationsAssist on cross functional projects as neededSuccess Criteria: Eager to take on new tasks and projectsAbility to thrive in change and ambiguityStrong written, oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skillsSolid leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills and good business acumenAbility to take initiative, work independently and achieve success with minimal supervisionExceptional documentation skills with the ability to be clear and conciseAbility to successfully manage multiple tasks concurrentlyIntermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookRequirementsBA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent2+ years total accounting experienceKnowledge of ASC 606 and internal control best practicesBenefitsYou've learned about what you'll be doing, here are some of the benefits you'll be getting when you join Calabrio:Global team recognized for their passion and innovationInnovative product culture and project exposureTraining and development from industry-leading expertsCutting edge benefit programs that include: 401(k) with company matching; medical, dental, and vision insurance; disability and life insurance; flexible PTO; paid holidays and parental leave; tuition reimbursement and moreWe offer market competitive pay and benefits based upon the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
