That’s the point.What you’ll do;Define and drive the AI product direction — not just features, but how it fits into the core platformWork closely with engineering to ship, test, and iterate quicklyGet deep into user problems (payroll, compliance, ops) and turn ambiguity into clear product decisionsMake trade-offs between speed, accuracy, and trust in AI-driven workflowsTake products from early-stage → usable → scalableAct as the bridge between technical capability and real-world use casesRequirementsWhat we’re looking for;You’ve built and shipped products in ambiguous, fast-moving environmentsYou’re comfortable working on AI/data-heavy products (you don’t need to be an ML expert, but you get the space)You care about solving real problems, not just shipping featuresYou can operate at both levels: thinking strategically and getting into the detailYou’re comfortable with things being undefined — and making them definedNice to have:Experience in fintech, HRTech, or other complex operational domainsExposure to LLMs, automation, or AI tooling in production environmentsBenefitsWhy is this role interestingYou’re not inheriting a polished AI product — you’re helping figure out what it should beYou’ll work directly with the CEO on a core strategic areaThe problems are real and messy — global payroll, compliance, payments — not hypothetical use casesThere’s enough scale to matter, but still a lot to build and shapeYou’ll see very quickly whether what you build actually works or notWhy RemotePassGlobal product, real complexity, real customersDistributed team with high ownershipFast-moving, imperfect, and evolving — but with a lot of opportunity to shape it
