By identifying functional gaps and safety risks, this work directly influences the deployment decisions of next-generation robotic platforms across industrial and consumer applications.Key Responsibilities:Design and execute structured evaluation protocols for robotic hardware and embedded software, including sensor accuracy, actuator responsiveness, and power efficiency.Conduct failure mode analysis under simulated operational stresses such as temperature extremes, vibration, and electromagnetic interference.Document quantitative performance metrics and compare results against established benchmarks or industry standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate evaluation findings into actionable recommendations for firmware or mechanical design improvements.Maintain compliance with relevant safety and regulatory frameworks during all testing procedures.Required Skills & Qualifications:Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on control systems and sensors.Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience evaluating robotic platforms, including both simulation and physical testing.Proficiency in Python or C++ for test automation and data logging, with experience using ROS (Robot Operating System) or similar frameworks.Familiarity with calibration procedures for inertial measurement units, LiDAR, and motor controllers in robotic systems.Strong analytical skills to interpret sensor data, detect anomalies, and produce clear technical reports for engineering stakeholders.More About the Opportunity:The role supports the development of certified robotic systems destined for global markets, contributing to rigorous pre-compliance validation before full-scale manufacturing.
