ROLE SUMMARYThe Project Manager independently manages the full lifecycle of small and medium-complexity SDLC projects, taking complete ownership of planning, execution, financial performance, and client satisfaction. This role begins direct people management, contributes to sales pursuits, and actively participates in internal PMO improvement initiatives. The Project Manager demonstrates strong technical and soft skills in project delivery while building toward a broader leadership footprint.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProduct & PMO KnowledgeProficiently use Microsoft Suite, MS Project, Jira, RCC PSA, and RCC T1 PMO ToolsApply deep knowledge of the RCC T1 methodology and industry best practicesDemonstrate proficient understanding of multiple methodologiesProvide project KPIs independently and make data-driven decisions with limited guidanceIdentify upstream and downstream impacts of changes to revenue, staffing, and timelinesWork directly with client management teams and stakeholdersProject & Program DeliveryManage 3+ full SDLC projects of small-to-medium complexity as sole PMCreate and maintain an Integrated Project Plan (IPP) reflecting RCC, third-party, and client activitiesBreak down deliverables, distribute work, and manage the team to successful deliveryIdentify dependencies and hidden activities not explicit in the contractProactively manage RAID items with effective mitigation plansAchieve consensus across SI, client, and third-party stakeholdersHandle escalations from both RCC team members and client-side contactsManage diverse project teams across geographies and hierarchy levelsDeliver concise, informative project updates and participate in Steering CommitteesPeople Leadership & ManagementManage 1–3 direct reports and guide their career directionHold direct reports accountable for project and career responsibilitiesSubmit promotion recommendations and define performance improvement pathsProactively escalate team issues to manager or directorConduct interviews and provide hiring recommendationsSubmit employee recognition and foster a high-performance team cultureMonitor and proactively manage billable utilization across direct and indirect reportsSales & Business DevelopmentDemonstrate full understanding of the sales landscape, services, and competitorsContribute to account expansion by identifying client project and relationship opportunitiesOwn and respond to RFP LOEs for complex bids with sales partnershipIdentify and manage change request (CR) situations, presenting to clients with limited supportSupport short-list presentations and sales callsBuild and maintain relationships with client peers and Oracle PMsLeverage network to uncover expansion and new client opportunitiesFinancial AcumenUnderstand how the organization generates profits and apply this to project decisionsManage all project financial metrics proactively to deliver financially healthy projectsEstimate, plan, and execute change requests without impacting committed scopeDeliver projects on time and on budgetManage T&M, fixed price, and blended projects with minimal oversightMaintain accurate revenue forecasts and explain variancesLeadership & StrategyDemonstrate full understanding of company strategy and how individual goals connect to company goalsRegularly demonstrate leadership capabilities within projects and internal initiativesTake ownership of internal process improvements and drive tangible outcomesExpand industry network through peer engagementOwn small PMO initiatives or workstreams within larger ones as a reliable execution leadCustomer ExperienceAnticipate client needs and serve as the client's primary go-to resourceConduct client meetings without oversightHandle challenging client situations with minimal senior supportMinimize escalations and proactively identify stakeholders for involvement throughout the projectGlobal OperationsDemonstrate solid cultural intelligence and work effectively with culturally diverse teamsManage diverse project teams across regions and functional groupsDemonstrate understanding of varying working models across RCC's service regionsQUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS5+ years of project management or directly relevant experiencePMP certification requiredDASM or equivalent agile certification requiredCompletion of Crucial Conversations, Everything DiSC Workplace, and Situational Leadership training1+ Lunch & Learn delivered1+ RED Talk deliveredSOFT SKILLS & COMPETENCIESIntermediate Proficiency required on the following competencies:CommunicationNegotiationStakeholder ManagementConflict ResolutionAdaptabilityTeam BuildingLeadershipDecision MakingEmotional IntelligenceCollaborationPresentationCurrently developing:Executive PresenceCritical Thinking
