Requirements and responsibilities


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Family Law Paralegal to join our growing legal support team. This is a full-time remote position supporting U.S.-based family law attorneys and clients. The ideal candidate has extensive experience handling family law matters, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working during U.S. business hours. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and manage family law legal documents, including petitions, motions, declarations, discovery requests, and settlement agreements. - Assist attorneys with case preparation, trial preparation, and hearing support. - Manage case files, deadlines, court filings, and client communications. - Conduct legal research and gather supporting documentation. - Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties. - Prepare financial disclosures and organize evidence for family law proceedings. - Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with court requirements and filing procedures. Required Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience as a Paralegal, with significant focus on family law matters. - 5+ years of experience working directly with U.S. law firms, attorneys, or U.S.-based clients. - Strong knowledge of U.S. family law procedures and legal documentation. - Experience with divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and related family law matters. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. - Proficiency with legal case management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems. Preferred Qualifications: - Paralegal certification or relevant legal education. - Experience supporting attorneys across multiple U.S. jurisdictions. - Familiarity with e-filing systems and court procedures.
