RTS is an enthusiast culture company that builds at the intersection of gaming, creators, and brands. From global live events to bespoke branded content, we exist to create meaningful connections between fans and the worlds they love. Our team brings deep expertise across partnership sales and marketing, talent management, event production, media, community building, and IP development.About Evo:For over 20 years, The Evolution Championship Series (Evo), has produced the largest and longest-running fighting game tournament conventions in the world. Our events are rallying points where fans, publishers, developers, and brands celebrate fighting games and the communities that love them. Beyond our established live events, Evo’s mission continues to evolve to create, celebrate, and renew fighting game fandom.Role OverviewWe’re hiring a Product Manager to help define and build new products at Evo, with an initial focus on Evo Legends. This is a product role first. Evo Legends and Evo Showcases). You’ll be responsible for shaping how this product is defined, how it shows up in different markets, and how it evolves over time. At the same time, you’ll be expected to think more broadly about how Evo builds and scales products that serve players, organizers, and fans. This will include consumer experiences across both internally and externally produced events and programming. This role requires strong judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to move between strategy and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy and OwnershipDefine product goals, priorities, and success metricsBuild and maintain a roadmap across multiple initiativesMake tradeoffs across features, formats, and investmentsUse data, feedback, and judgment to guide decisionsCross-Functional ExecutionLead execution across Product, Operations, Marketing, Partnerships, Creative, Content, and BroadcastAlign stakeholders on priorities, scope, and timelinesDrive work forward across teams and remove blockersEnsure decisions are made and progress is consistentExecution and DeliveryBreak down product work into clear plans and deliverablesManage timelines across multiple workstreamsIdentify risks early and adjust as neededEnsure a high standard of quality across outputsBudget Ownership and Performance TrackingOwn and manage budgets across your product areasAllocate resources across events, content, and production based on prioritiesTrack spend and performance against planEvaluate outcomes and adjust investment over timeProduct Development (Primary Focus: Special Events)Lead development of Evo Legends and Evo Showcase as repeatable products across marketsDefine event structures, formats, and core components of the experiencesShape how exhibition matches, local competitions, fan elements, and new content promotions come togetherEnsure the products are clear, compelling, and consistent across regionsContent and Experience DesignDefine how storytelling, matchups, and player narratives are developedWork with teams to build content that supports each event, including promotional and broadcast contentEnsure the experience works both on-site and for broadcast audiencesSystems and Process DesignBuild repeatable processes for planning and executing events across regionsCreate documentation and workflows that support scaleImprove how teams collaborate and deliver over timeUser Insight and FeedbackStay close to players, talent, and fansGather feedback and translate it into product improvementsIdentify patterns across markets and adjust the approach accordinglyLaunch and IterationSupport launch and rollout of Legends events across regionsMeasure performance across attendance, engagement, and viewershipIterate on format, content, and experience based on resultsQualifications5+ years of experience in product management, or a related role with clear product ownershipExperience building and shipping products, programs, or live experiencesExperience owning budgets and making investment decisionsStrong ability to prioritize and make decisions with limited informationClear communicator who can align cross-functional teamsStrong project management and organizational skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environmentInterest in gaming, live events, or content-driven productsBonus PointsExperience working on live events, broadcast, or content productionExperience working with talent, creators, or competitive playersBackground in esports or gamingExperience building repeatable event formats across marketsExisting connections in the FGC or gaming communityA practical understanding of frame dataBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance401(k) plan available for employee contributionsFlexible work scheduleGenerous PTO and company-observed holidaysRemote-first culture
