Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be a trusted partner, building out and managing various aspects of the finance department, including analytics, monthly reporting, accounting operations, systems, audit, and tax. You will build strong relationships across all departments in the Company, instilling a culture of strong communication and partnership with finance.The Assistant Controller will lead day-to-day finance operations and supervise staff members including functional responsibility over accounting and international consolidation. Additionally, the Assistant Controller will coordinate tax compliance, ensure FloQast and NetSuite excellence, and assist with our banking relationships.This is a tremendous opportunity for a motivated individual with five to seven years of accounting and finance experience, ideally beginning in public accounting and then moving to the corporate world.Responsibilities:Oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirementsMaintain internal control and safeguards for SaaS sales results, revenue reporting, accruals, and cash managementShorten the monthly close and reporting cyclePrimary contact for all audit activity with BDO and audited GAAP financial statementsUse AI to drive process improvements, insights, and efficiencies in the close process, analytics, and reporting effectivenessAs we continue our international process improvement, this role will help drive the structure, rollout, and ongoing oversightAnalyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; and provide budget to actual variance reportingKey partner in the annual budgeting and planning processRequirements:Degree in accounting or financeCPA requiredStrong GAAP knowledge5-7+ years of accounting experienceInternational multi-currency experienceKeen AI, analytic and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reportingAbility to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environmentStrong NetSuite proficiencyStrong Excel skillsOwnership mindset—process improvements and operational excellence are critical to our finance brandStrong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior managementProficiency in defining, documenting, and implementing accounting and processes
