Job Details: - Work Location: Blythewood, SC. - Job Title: Network Engineer – Consultant. - Duration: 12 months. - Interview Process: Two rounds. The candidate needs to be prepared to go onsite for one or both interviews. Core Responsibilities: - Lead the configuration, installation, tuning, and upgrading of statewide enterprise network products. - Rapidly diagnose and remediate complex network failures and outages, particularly within voice-integrated infrastructures. - Monitor network performance. - Ensure robust connectivity. - Aggressively drive cybersecurity compliance using industry best practices. - Maintain immaculate network diagrams and documentation. - Provide seamless knowledge transfer and informal coaching to junior peers. Required Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of hands-on, relevant network experience. - Cisco Ecosystem: 10+ years of master-level experience across Cisco Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VPN configurations, and overall Cisco administration. - Palo Alto: 5+ years of deep technical proficiency with Palo Alto Firewalls. Preferred Skills and Certifications: - Certifications: CCNA or CCNP are highly preferred. - Experience: 10+ years in core network architecture, advanced routing and switching, and utilizing network monitoring and tracing tools. - Experience: 4+ years managing enterprise wireless networks. - Experience: 3+ years managing hybrid cloud infrastructure. - Familiarity with: Cisco Meraki, Fortinet/FortiGate, Certes, Citrix NetScaler, and Trellix technologies.
