Charm Security is looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to help the world's leading financial institutions deploy the next generation of AI agents for fraud, scams, and cybercrime prevention and resolution.As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will work directly alongside customers to understand how fraud teams operate, configure and tailor AI agents to their environment, solve complex operational challenges, and continuously improve deployments based on real-world usage.You'll operate at the intersection of engineering, AI, customer success, and fraud operations. Every customer is different, and you'll be responsible for turning Charm’s Agentic AI Workforce into a solution that feels purpose-built for each institution.This role is ideal for someone who loves solving problems, enjoys working directly with customers, and wants to help shape how AI transforms fraud and scam prevention in financial institutions. You'll spend time on customer sites, becoming a trusted technological partner throughout their fraud AI transformation journey.Key ResponsibilitiesWork directly with fraud investigators, analysts, contact center teams, and executives to understand workflows and operational challengesConfigure, customize, and optimize Charm's AI agents to match each customer's fraud operations, policies, and processesBuild integrations with customer systems, data sources, and enterprise applicationsRapidly prototype creative solutions for customer-specific requirementsAnalyze production usage, identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously evolve customer deploymentsPartner closely with Product and Engineering to translate customer needs into new capabilitiesAct as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer's AI fraud transformation journeyTravel regularly to customer sites across the United States for workshops, deployments, training, and executive sessionsWho You AreYou enjoy solving real-world problems where there isn't an obvious answerYou love working directly with customers and becoming deeply embedded in their businessYou're highly technical but equally comfortable collaborating with frontline teamsYou thrive in ambiguous environments where creativity matters as much as technical executionYou naturally think outside the box and enjoy building elegant solutions for unique customer challengesYou take ownership and are motivated by delivering measurable customer outcomesStrong communicator who can work across technical and non-technical stakeholdersThrive in fast-paced startup environments where speed and learning matterRequirements+4 years of experience in forward-deployed engineering, solution engineering, implementation engineering, or software engineeringStrong software engineering skills with experience building integrations, APIs, automation, or backend systemsExperience working with AI systems, LLMs, AI agents, or agentic workflowsExperience working directly with enterprise customers on technical deployments or complex implementationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiencesAbility to travel throughout the United States and Canada (approximately 25-50%)AdvantagesExperience in fraud, financial crime, cybersecurity, fintech, banking, or financial servicesFamiliarity with the fraud and communication platforms' technology stackStartup experience or experience in fast-moving, customer-facing technical rolesDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
