In this role, you’ll be pivotal in enhancing the financial interactions between our Shipper Sales and Carrier Procurement teams, with the aim of reducing Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Your expertise in handling exceptions, managing document workflows, and implementing process improvements will be key to streamlining our operations. With your knack for problem-solving and effective communication, you'll ensure financial transactions are settled accurately and efficiently, reinforcing our commitment to operational excellence. Join us in a role that's not just about crunching numbers — it’s about crafting a financial framework that upholds our promise of delivering a seamless experience to our shippers and carriers.WHAT YOU GET TO DO:Audit and approve carrier paymentsReview carrier submitted documentation accuracy, ensuring compliance with payable policyReview documents and bills from carriers and resolve discrepanciesManage fast-paced, high volume carrier emailsUnderstand and diagnose what the billing problem is, and how to fix itProvide detailed review of carrier’s aging reportWork in tandem with the rest of the financial settlement team to reduce our Days Sales Outstanding and Days Payable Outstanding MetricsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of experience in financial operations and accounts payablesHands-on experience with TMS and audit provider systemsProven experience in ExcelStrong proactivity and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailComfortable with daily manual data entry and system updatesAbility to interpret and review contracts and carrier termsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and cross-team collaboration skillsExperience with LTL is desirableWORKING AT LOADSMART: • Competitive base salaries - we believe in rewarding top talent • Loadie Time Off - PTO and sick days without a limitAt Loadsmart, we believe our biggest asset is our people.
