Duties: - Develop and maintain full-stack web applications utilizing technologies such as JavaScript, React, Express, and other modern frameworks. - Design system architecture and system components with scalability, security, and performance in mind, employing best practices like design patterns and microservices architecture. - Build and optimize RESTful APIs to ensure smooth communication between front-end interfaces and back-end services. - Implement infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to support application deployment, scalability, and high availability. - Collaborate within Agile software development teams to plan sprints, review code through version control systems like GitHub or SVN, and ensure continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are effective. - Conduct system design for new features or products, focusing on creating scalable systems that can handle growth efficiently. - Write clean, maintainable code in multiple programming languages including Python, Java, C#, C++, and C for various application components. - Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and documentation efforts to uphold quality standards across all projects. Skills: - Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts including server management, networking fundamentals, and cloud computing environments like AWS or Azure. - Proven experience with Ruby on Rails for backend development alongside modern web frameworks such as React and Express for front-end development. - Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience integrating third-party APIs. - Expertise in system design for scalable systems using microservices architecture and design patterns to promote modularity and reusability. - Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub or SVN along with CI/CD tools for automated testing and deployment processes. - Proficiency in database management using MySQL, SQL Server, or similar relational databases; experience with SQL query optimization is a plus. - Knowledge of software engineering best practices including Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban; experience working within Agile teams is highly desirable. - Experience with Linux environments for application deployment and troubleshooting; understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) security models is beneficial. - Ability to develop front-end interfaces using JavaScript frameworks such as React along with backend services built on .NET or Java technologies. - Familiarity with application security principles including secure coding practices, API security (OAuth), and RBAC implementations to protect sensitive data.
